Terms of service

These terms apply when you book a detail or a membership with Highgate Detail Co. (“we”). By booking, you agree to them.

Quotes and prices

The estimate on our site is based on the answers you give. Your quote, sent by text, is the price for the work it describes, based on your photos. If the vehicle’s condition differs materially from the photos, we tell you the revised price before we start, and you may decline. Prices are in US dollars before Utah sales tax, which we add where it applies.

Bookings

Tell us at least 24 hours before the visit if you need to cancel or move it. If weather prevents the work, we move the booking to the next available day at no charge.

Your vehicle

You must be entitled to authorize work on the vehicle. Remove valuables before the visit. Items we find are placed in a labeled bag and left in the vehicle. If the work needs an outlet or water, we ask in advance.

Payment

Payment is due when the work is finished, by card (tap or phone wallet), Venmo, Zelle or cash.

Damage

We photograph the vehicle before we start. If you believe we caused damage, tell us within 48 hours of the visit. We will inspect it and, if we are responsible, repair it or pay the reasonable cost of repair. We are not responsible for damage that existed before the visit, or for wear that cleaning reveals, such as faded paint or loose trim.

Our guarantee

If you are not satisfied with the work, tell us within 48 hours of the visit and we will return and correct it at no charge.

Memberships

Memberships are billed in advance through Square on the schedule shown on the Memberships page. You may cancel at any time by emailing [email protected]. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. For a plan billed every three months, we send a reminder between 30 and 60 days before each renewal.

Photos

We photograph your vehicle for our records. We post a photo only with your permission, with the license plate hidden. See our Privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah.
